It has charged my Sony type batteries, Nikon batteries and Samsung batteries, once you get the concept it is pretty easy to use, although not the most stable. If you accidently hit (nudge) the battery in the upright position it might uncouple. The lcd readout is simple, indicating charging or full. Included is an ac adapter and car adapter, now when I travel I don't have to take multiple adapters, just one will do. Rating would be 5 stars but it is flimsy, I would be willing to pay additional for better quality including more stability.
