Case includes two different attachments - one is a heavy metal spring clip that will slide/snap on and off a belt, and a second one, made of heavy coated canvas, that can be opened and closed with snaps. Both will fasten to the heavy metal lug on the back of the cell phone case. This metal lug is fastened by rivets - it's not coming free just because you dropped the phone, for instance. Very durable.
Only down side for this case is that it's quite heavy compared to most others, and adds weight to a phone that's not exactly known for its small footprint. However, it provides a secure and durable case for a phone that's already designed to take punishment. A good choice if you plan on taking the phone (and case) into the wild, and can spare the weight.
