(More customer reviews)This item should be neutral in color - gray . It's not. It adds significant redness to the image. It's so bad it's unusable. It's funny - you can actually see the red in the product photo on the product page...
It's too bad - it's a great price and the overall product quality (but for this problem) is otherwise fine, though the filter threads are not as precise as better products.
The product listing says "Will Not Effect [sic] Color Or Detail Of Scene".
The package says "Will Not affect Color Or Detail Of Scene".
It fails on this point. It introduces red (affects color). It's so pronounced I found I could not use this filter and have returned it for a refund.
If you are willing to do a custom White Balance set-up on your camera when you use this filter, you can probably get away with it. I chose not to add this extra (time consuming) step to my workflow. I shall just have to save for a better class of filter.
