I had purchased two previous warranties through SquareTrade "just in case" the refurbished items I purchased did not hold up. The items where great and I never had to file a claim. The third time I purchased a warranty on a camera that gave out after about 4 months of use. I was amazed and impressed how quickly SquareTrade responded; sent the information on how to mail the item back to them at their cost; and how quickly they received the item got back to me that it was not repairable and issued a FULL refund of the purchase price. They are definitely true to their word. Never again will I buy an in-store warranty since I know I will get a cheaper price through SquareTrade and I know first-hand they will honor the warranty should I have problems. I highly recommend them.

I sat around with a broken camera for almost 4 months not knowing what to do with it! Within 1 week of the time I contacted Square trade, I returned my product and had the full amount that I paid for the camera deposited in my Paypal account! This was one of the most valuable decisions I made when I purchased this warranty back in November. Great and timely service!

I did have a product that was not working properly. I mailed it in and they were not able to repair the item and did not have a replacement. I was refunded my full price that I originally paid for the item. I believe they do have an excellent warranty program. I would recommend this to those who wish to purchase an extended warranty.

I have had warranties with them for years now and they have maintained their fine livel of service throughout those years. If you buy a warranty someplace else you paid too much, did'nt get the protection that squaretrade offers and will have a much harder time with a claim.

(More customer reviews)I bought their warranty as I had a bought a new to the market digital camera on ebay, and after 2 yrs and 8 months of a 3yr waranty I thought it was a lost cause, when my camera failed on vacation in China, and I had to buy another while away, ( which got stolen before I could insure it....go figure). But I contacted Square Trade on my return and to my amazement they not only responded, but sent me a UPS return label for it...... AND 2 weeks later, repaid the FULL purchase price into my PayPal account.... I was IMPRESSED to say the least!!!! I have since insured my new camera, and my laptop with them, and will also have them cover my soon to be purchased IPhone too...and am a CONFIRMED beliver in SQUARE TRADE... and all my friends know it soooo, JUST DO IT....NOW!!!!

(More customer reviews)Square Trade aftermarket warranties are a good value for the price, which is considerably less than those the electronic stores try to sell you. I purchased a Sony Handycam and tried a Square Trade warranty which was $24.00 for 3 years. Toward the end of the warranty the focus during a zoom did not always work or did not keep up with the zoom. I called Square Trade. They told me to get a price quote locally to have the item fixed. The quote I received was only $40 less than the cost of the camera. When I reported that to Square Trade, they sent me a prepaid UPS mailing label. Three days after they received the malfunctioning camera I had the total warranty value in my PayPal account. I will purchase other Square Trade warranties on small complicated electronics in the future.

However, when an issue with a digital camera as well as a computer that I had purchased with the Square Trade warranty I was more than surprised. I email a claim in, on the camera they asked it be sent to them and they paid the postage. Within a couple of days of receipt I had a notification that my PayPal account had been credited. The same happened with a coomputer purchase.
Square Trade will have my my extended warranty business for everything I purchase.

(More customer reviews)I bought a Kodak M1033 digital camera on eBay and decided it would be a good idea to take a warranty on it thru Square Trade as I use the camera for my eBay auctions to attach pictures. I bought this camera about 8 months ago. I have another couple of warranties with Square Trade and haven't had to use any of them until now. As with most electronics, they sometimes break or start going bad after a short while so a warranty is a good idea, especially when you buy an item on eBay that doesn't have a warranty. I contacted Square Trade about my dead camera and they recommended I send it back to them so their Product Specialists could confirm what I told them what was wrong with my camera. After receiving my camera they assessed it and confirmed the camera had a faulty internal problem. An email was sent to me from Square Trade stating they had finished assessing my claim and that I was eligible for a full payout. They sent 100% of my money to my PayPal account (within 24 hours) that I paid for my camera. After receiving my money I went back to eBay and bought another brand new Kodak M1033 camera. It hasn't arrived yet but when it does I will surely take another warranty thru Square Trade. The warranties from Square Trade are very reasonable and are better and cheaper than you can get at a retail outlet. I highly recommend Square Trade for all your warranty needs. They are a top shelve company with a no hassle commitment to their customers. I have nothing but praise for the Square Trade team.

(More customer reviews)You can buy a warranty from Square Trade for for what ever electronics you have, even for a used item on Ebay ! They have drop and spill warranty too that you can add. It is very easy, they keep everything online for you. If you subscribe to their newsletter they often have discounts. I just had a camera failing, they replied to my email the next day, offered me a shipping label to print to send my camera, and 2 or 3 days after, sent me an email saying they were going to reimburse me the price of my camera on my Paypal account. A few more days after, it's done and I can buy another, newer camera. Thanks Square Trade.

I have been burnt in the past from shopping online... get a product that doesn't work, then fight to get it replaced or refunded. Not with Square Trade.
